Ideal Infrared Thermometer

Ideal Test & Measurement Equipments

The Ideal Infrared (IR) Thermometer is a non-contact type of thermometer. It used to measure temperatures in equipments, electric circuits, and various systems while they are in operation. To measure the temperature of an area, point the thermometer to that area. It has a laser pointer, which indicates the center of the area whose temperature is being measured. The ratio of distance to spot is 12:1. It has a backlit LCD display.

It measures temperatures between -76 to 932°F. It displays the maximum, minimum, difference, and average temperatures. The Lock mode ensures continuous measurement of temperature. High and low temperature alarms with audio warning can be set. For accurate temperature measurements, emissivity values can be set. It has a socket for K-type thermocouple. As additional accessory, the K-type thermocouple probe can be used to measure temperatures of places that are difficult to reach.
