The company's Managing Director Mr. S.K Jain is a first class first graduate in Electronics Engineering and a Post Graduate in Business Management.

The company was started by him in 1986 to market and service equipments/components/instruments/consumables of reputed foreign companies in India.

With a constant endeavour to bring new products for the benefit of the industry he has brought many such products from overseas companies in his 31 years of total experience. Under his dynamic leadership Sumitron has come a long way since the inception.

With the second generation now joining the company , it is headed for even better days with diversification being undertaken.
